ANATOMY

Your foot is wider than your boot.

We measured hundreds of Indian feet with a Brannock device. The average ball width lands near 94mm and runs to 97mm. Most boots are built on an 89mm last.

That gap doesn't disappear when you lace up — it becomes compression on every stride.

GROUND TRUTH

Indian turf is not European turf.

Indian AG arenas run 10–20mm of rubber-crumb infill. European turf is calibrated for 22–30mm. Studs designed for one surface lock up — or slip — on the other.

CLIMATE

38°C. Your boot doesn't know that.

PVC stiffens as it heats. Indian football happens in the heat. By the second half a PVC upper is a different, harder material against your foot.

PU microfibre stays supple across the whole 22–38°C range. PVC becomes a different material.

THE FIX

Rs.40. That's what every Indian brand decided your heel isn't worth.

A heel counter is a small moulded cup that locks your heel in place. Without it, your heel lifts on every sprint. With it, you stay planted.

TRACTION

Wrong depth. Every time.

Drag the slider. Too shallow and you slide; too deep and the stud locks in crumb and torques your knee. There's a window — and it's specific to Indian infill.
